Aneighbour needed there Audi A3 cleaned to put it up for sale.
For a 2006 plate she’s in great condition,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, except the paint.
The paint is covered in fine car wash scratches.
The exterior looks good from the first glance, closer look reveals the all the micromarring which the camera doesn’t pick much of it up.
Mats out, typical debris.
Before. Not looking bad on camera but in person, not quite right.
Tackled the interior first with a vacuum and shampooing the seats and mats. Full biocote wipe down inside.
After.
Poorboys Black Hole doing an amazing job of filling those fine scratches and leaving a nice deep gloss. So easy to use, wipe on, cover panel and then buff off. No smear or residue, just gloss.
My ugly self in the reflection.
She’s up for sale if anyone wants a manual, diesel, Audi A3.

Technically a three-door.
Yeah, the US gets the shaft on reasonable car body styles, engines, and transmissions.

I settled for a sportback here. It was best of A3s we got here at the time. Have been very happy with it. The DSG is something of a compromise but VR6 works well with it.

I do like the Audi A3 but then there’s the A1 which I like more.
Also available in diesel.

yes! I saw the suped up version of the A1 whilst in Australia last time. had one of those moments where the wife was just shaking her head while I was excited snapping away pics of a small hatchback and ignoring super cars.

I’ll post up when it goes on the bay. Just have to hook up a coolant line and set the timing after the injection pump swap.

Regular cars appeal to me more than supercars also.
They are more attainable.
